UG & PG Admissions

Undergraduate

B.E. / B.Tech.

Admission to Undergraduate programmes is carried out through the applicable Tamil Nadu admission process.

  • Admission is based on the Tamil Nadu +2 examination result as specified in the College's mandatory disclosure.
  • 65% of seats are surrendered to the Government under the single-window system.
  • 35% of seats are filled by the College under Management Quota through the Consortium.

Postgraduate

M.E. / M.Tech. / MBA / MCA

Postgraduate admission requirements vary according to the programme and applicable admission regulations.

  • Engineering PG programmes require the relevant undergraduate qualification.
  • MBA admission requires a recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration.
  • Government-quota PG admissions may be based on TANCET marks for applicable programmes.
  • Management-quota admissions are conducted through the applicable Consortium process.
UG Admission

Admission Categories

Government Quota

65% of UG seats are surrendered to the Government under the single-window system. Admission is carried out according to the applicable Government and counselling norms.

Management Quota

35% of UG seats are filled by the College under Management Quota through the Consortium of Self Financing Professional Colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility

Know Before You Apply

B.E. / B.Tech.

Candidates seeking admission to the first semester of the B.E. / B.Tech. programmes are required to have passed Higher Secondary Examination (Academic 10+2) or an equivalent examination with the required qualifying subjects as prescribed by the applicable regulations.

B.E. / B.Tech. Lateral Entry

Lateral-entry admissions are subject to the eligibility requirements and regulations applicable to direct second-year admission.

MBA

A recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks at the qualifying examination is required. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the minimum is 45% as specified by the College.
